BDO Jordan Conducts a Training Workshop on “Auditing Banks”

BDO Jordan conducted a training workshop for its staff, in cooperation with BDO Lebanon on “Auditing Banks”, at the Amman Sheraton Hotel on July 26- 27, 2011.
The workshop focused on the Banking Sector, a cornerstone of the economy, where Joint Audits have been legislated in a number of jurisdictions to strengthen Corporate Governance. One of these jurisdictions is Lebanon where Joint Audits have been practiced since 2010. BDO Lebanon is the joint auditor of a number of the top banks in Lebanon, some of which have branches in Jordan. This workshop, as part of the annual training program at BDO Jordan, increased the competence of the participants, and brought them up to speed with the latest global developments in the industry.
